Alnico permanent magnet, an alloy consisting of the metals aluminum, nickel, cobalt, iron and other trace elements. AlNiCo permanent magnets can be produced by two different processes: casting and sintering. The casting process can be processed into different sizes and shapes. Compared with the casting process, the sintered product is limited to small size. The tolerance of sintered blank magnet is better than casted. Samarium cobalt(SmCo) is a permanent magnet composed of metal samarium, cobalt and some other rare earth elements. According to the different components, SmCo5 and Sm2Co17 have high magnetic energy product (14-32mGOe) and reliable coercive, and show good temperature characteristics in rare earth permanent magnet series. Samarium cobalt works better at high temperatures than NdFeB.
Permanent Ferrite magnet is made of SrO or Fe2O3 by Ceramic processing technology. Ferrite is divided into BaO·6Fe2O3 and SrO·6Fe2O3. The advantage is low cost.
